Apparently the Phoenicopteridae fossil ...Thanks :)<br /><br />Apparently the Phoenicopteridae fossil record goes right back to the Eocene, with species attributed to <i>Phoenicopterus</i> in Oligocene to Pleistocene Europe and North America.
